About
The Melbourne Anglican Cultural Organisation (MACO) is established for the following purposes:
- The promotion of literature, music, performing arts, visual arts, crafts, design, film, video, television, radio, community arts, Indigenous arts and moveable cultural heritage
- Participation in cultural projects including developing church choirs and ecclesiastical music; conducting art exhibitions, plays and performances; providing art, creative writing and poetry classes; and the study of storytelling through stained glass and the study of iconography and symbols associated with churches in the Melbourne Anglican Diocese
“The partnership with the Melbourne Anglican Foundation enables our donors to not only continue to generously support St John’s Camberwell Music Fund but also to receive a tax-deductible donation. It’s a win-win for everyone and one that we are extremely grateful for.”
- Reverend John Baldock, former Vicar, St John’s Camberwell
